Wilfred and Dorothy Chessman, daughter of John Chessman and Elizabeth Tarr, were married by Reverend A. E. E. Legge on Saturday, 31 July 1926 at St. Cyprian's Anglican Church, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada. She was 23, spinster, operator, living at 55 Hallam Street, Toronto, Church of England. He was 24, bachelor, truck driver, living at 550 Richmond St. W, Toronto, Church of England. They were both able to read and write. Margaret O'Hara witnessed the marriage.

Wilfred died on Friday, 7 December 1928 near Port Colborne, Northumberland Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 27 years and 2 months the result of a vehicle accident. The registration states he was Hebrew, born in Peterborough, transport driver. The physician listed the following: did not attend but made post mortem exam did not see him alive , saw body first when I did p/m.
